‘Mieruko-chan’ Episode 1 Live Stream Details: How To Watch Online [Spoilers]

The daily life of Miko Yotsuya, an ordinary high school girl, entails going to school, taking classes, doing homework and watching horror shows. Her not-so-extraordinary life takes a bizarre turn in "Mieruko-chan" Episode 1 when she starts seeing the monsters in real life.

The official website has released the spoiler stills and synopsis of "Mieruko-chan" Episode 1. One day, out of nowhere, Miko starts seeing ugly monsters and spirits that others can’t.

Miko thinks it is because of all the horror shows she has been watching. She believes she is hallucinating. But the grotesque monsters are real and visible.

She decides not to face them or run from them. Miko completely ignores the otherworldly beings staring at her. It remains to be seen if they are trying to communicate with her. Will they get upset if Miko continues to ignore them?

The first episode also introduces two of Miko’s friends namely, Hana Yurikawa and Yuria Niguredo.

“A normal girl was living a normal life until she wasn't. One day, she could see...everything. What's a girl to do when hideous monsters appear no matter which way she turns? And on top of that, nobody else can see them! Obviously, there's only one thing that makes sense-ignore them. Kinda hard to put theory into practice, though, when the ghosts know she's watching...,” read the synopsis from the manga, according to Yen Press.

"Mieruko-chan" is based on the manga of the same name by Tomoki Izumi. The anime is directed by Yuki Ogawa and the series composition is handled by Kenta Ihara. The music is composed by Kana Utatane and the sound direction is by Fumiyuki Go.

The chief animation directors of the series are Yuka Takashina, Masahide Yanagisawa, Kyoko Kametani, Katsuzo Hirata, Hideki Hashimoto and Chikashi Kadekaru.

The opening theme song titled "Mienai Kara ne!?" and the ending theme, "Mita na? Mita yo ne? Miteru yo ne???" are performed by Sora Amamiya, who is also voicing the protagonist Miko Yotsuya.

The cast of "Mieruko-chan" anime includes Sora Amamiya as Miko Yotsuya, Kaede Hondo as Hana Yurikawa, Ayane Sakura as Yuria Niguredō, Yumiri Hanamori as Kyо̄suke Yotsuya, Ikuko Tani as Godmother and Yūichi Nakamura as Zen Tohno.
