Miley Cyrus Delivers 'Inspiring' Performance At Chris Cornell Benefit Concert In LA
Miley Cyrus was one of the artists who performed at Chris Cornell’s benefit concert in Los Angeles recently. Her performance was so good that she earned praise from “Metallica” band member Lars Ulrich. The drummer also shared a picture of himself with Cyrus backstage.
In a post on his official Instagram page, Ulrich called Cyrus’ performance “beyond inspiring.” Cyrus performed the song “Say Hello 2 Heaven” at the event, and the drummer wrote that her take on the song was a “next level version” of the original.
A video of Cyrus’ performance at the event has been posted on Twitter by the singer. The video shows the artist rocking the stage in a white t-shirt and black pants.
According to a report by Rolling Stone, Cyrus got a weak response from the audience when she was introduced. However, she was able to win the crowd with her performance. She performed the song with the surviving members of “Temple of the Dog.”
Cyrus was able to get a lot of applause after the song ended, and she thanked the audience. She said that she really wanted to sing this particular song on that night, and she added that it was an honor to perform at the event.
“Metallica” was one of the bands that performed at Chris Cornell’s benefit concert. The other performers include “Audioslave,” Dave Grohl and Josh Homme.
Cyrus has also been in the news recently for responding to rumors about her being pregnant with Liam Hemsworth’s baby. The singer quickly shut down the rumor by responding to the story on Twitter. Instead of simply saying that the story was fake, she decided to have some fun with it and explained the situation in a funny way.
After explaining to everyone online that she and her husband Hemsworth aren’t expecting a child, she asked the tabloids to leave them alone. The singer got a lot of support from the fan base, and many of them asked her to release her next album soon.
