Miley Cyrus’ Family Reacts To Nicki Minaj Diss; See How They Responded During 2015 MTV VMAs [VIDEO]

Looks like we weren’t the only ones picking our jaws up off the floor on Sunday night when Nicki Minaj called Miley Cyrus out during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. According to reports, Cyrus’ parents, who were sitting in the crowd during the 32nd annual award show while their daughter hosted, were also surprised when the “Anaconda” singer made a crude comment to the former Disney darling.

During Minaj’s acceptance speech for Best Hip Hop video, the curvy crooner thanked her fans and pastor for their support moments before making a dig at Cyrus. “Now back to this b---- that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press. Miley, what’s good?” Minaj boldly stated, referring the New York Times interview where Cyrus said that she didn’t “respect” the way the award-winning songstress handled not being nominated for MTV's Video of The Year.

“If you do things with an open heart and you come at things with love, you would be heard and I would respect your statement. But I don’t respect your statement because of the anger that came with it,” Cyrus said to the outlet prior to the 2015 VMAs. “You made it about you. Not to sound like a b----, but that’s like, ‘Eh, I didn’t get my VMA.'”

After Minaj’s live, on-stage diss, Cyrus quickly responded, claiming that the interviewer had misconstrued her comment. “We all do interviews. We all know how they manipulate s---,” Cyrus said to Minaj. “Congratuf—kinglations, Nicki.”

As Cyrus replied to Minaj’s call out, a camera cut to the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s family to capture their reactions. And needless to say, they too we’re shocked with Minaj’s statement. But when the feisty host attempted to rectify the sticky situation, the southern belle’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, mother, Tish Cyrus, sisters, Noah and Brandi Cyrus, and brother, Braison Cyrus, were all smiles. The Cyrus clan cheered the host on as she continued with the segment following the cringe-worthy moment.
