'Million Dollar Listing's' Matt Altman Addresses Wife's Domestic Violence Arrest: 'Never Been More In Love'

"Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" agent Matt Altman's wife was arrested earlier this month, according to a report.

Johanna Altman, 40, was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence on Aug. 4, Page Six reported. She was reportedly booked at the Los Angeles Police Department Valley Jail Section in Van Nuys, California, at 9:30 p.m. local time that day.

A spokesperson from the facility told the outlet that she was released the following day after paying $50,000 bail.

When asked about the incident, Matt, 44, told Page Six Tuesday that Johanna's father recently died of COVID-19, which "has been absolutely devastating to her and our entire family."

He continued, "We have all been struggling with this loss and have been going through a tough time."

The Bravo personality then gave an update on his marriage to Johanna following her arrest, saying: "We have never been more in love and connected from this tragedy. We ask everyone to respect our privacy."

In addition to his statement, the real estate agent also shared a family photo on Instagram. The snap showed the family posing for the camera while in a pool, with Johanna holding one of their sons and Matt holding their two other kids.

"Everyone smiling in [the] same pic," he captioned the photo on Aug. 8, just days after Johanna was released from jail. "Anyone with 3 or more kids knows this isn't easy."

Matt and Johanna, who have been married since August 2017, share 4-year-old twins Ashton and London and 2-year-old son Hudson.

Last week, Matt also shared a throwback wedding photo to commemorate their fifth anniversary.

"Happy 5th anniversary, @johanna_altman. [I] couldn't imagine sharing life with anyone else. Five years, four house moves, three incredible kids, two people sharing one heart. Love you, xo #anniversary," Matt wrote in the caption.

After news broke about her arrest Tuesday, Johanna shared an Instagram post saying that she and her husband were "only getting stronger."

"Such a beautiful anniversary weekend. 5 years and only getting stronger. Ups and downs ain't gonna stop anything. Love you so much @themattaltman," she wrote alongside a photo of her cozying up to her husband as they smile at the camera.

Matt and his brother, Josh, own and operate the high-end real estate company The Altman Brothers Team. Based on their website, Johanna is also a real estate agent in Los Angeles, but she does not work for the firm.
