Pregnant Heather Rae El Moussa Has 'Separation Anxiety' As Tarek Vacations With Kids Sans Her

Heather Rae El Moussa got candid about how she was feeling after missing her husband, Tarek El Moussa, who had been away for a family vacation.

The 34-year-old pregnant celebrity took to Instagram Wednesday and shared throwback photos with Tarek during their pregnancy shoot because she was missing him. The "Selling Sunset" star said she was having "separation anxiety" since it was the first time they had been apart for the longest time. Tarek is in Mexico, vacationing with his family and children.

"Missing my best friend while he's away in Cabo with the kids and our families, so I'm going through photos that I love of us," she wrote in the caption. "This is the longest we've been apart since we've been together so I'm maybeee getting a little separation anxiety [grinning squinting face emoji] so help distract me! What are your favorite books/tv shows at the moment??"

"Miss you bunny!!" Tarek commented on his wife's post with multiple red heart emojis.

Tarek also shared a photo from their vacation on Instagram Monday. In the caption, he gave fans a glimpse of his reunion with his family.

"Family trips to Cabo are always a good idea," he wrote.

According to the "Flip or Flop" alum, they are staying in a villa with his entire family and two children — Taylor, 11, and Brayden, 6 — whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall. They are reportedly "having a blast," but he's also missing his wife, who was left behind at home.

"Experiences like these are nothing without your family or close friends to share them with. So if you need the El Moussa fam, we'll be here:)," he wrote. "Just missing @heatherraeyoung like crazy, but doctors' orders come first!!"

"Miss my family [red heart emojis] and love you so much baby," Heather commented.

Heather was supposed to be on the trip. However, her doctor advised her against flying. She's taking precautions as she's pregnant and opted to stay home.

Last month, the couple announced they were expecting their first baby together after sharing their fertility struggles. Heather said it was a "huge shock" that she conceived naturally because they were already scheduled a date to transfer an embryo amid their in vitro fertilization treatments.

"We just weren't expecting this. We had just gone through IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan," Heather told People. "I think when you least expect it and there's no stress in your life, the world just brought us what was meant to be. I'm so excited that it happened like this."

Last week, Tarek and Heather had a gender reveal party with their family and friends. The couple announced in a video shared on Instagram that they were expecting a baby boy.
