Motorola Moto G 2015’s Accidental Listing Gives Away Price, Variants, Key Specifications
In addition to the slew of rumors and leaks surrounding the third-generation Motorola Moto G 2015, a new listing sheds light on the pricing and configuration details. Flipkart, a widely-popular Indian retailer, listed the Moto G 2015 by mistake, giving away key details for the upcoming handset.
The d Flipkart listing picked up by Tech Droider said the upcoming Moto G will have two variants. One of the models reportedly will come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage capacity. The other version of the Moto G will house a solid 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage capacity, Phone Arena said.
The device apparently will feature a pocket-friendly 5.0-inch display, packed with 720 x 1,280-pixel screen resolution, protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, in combination with a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz. Graphics apparently will be handled by an Adreno 306 graphics card, and the handset will run on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
When it comes to camera configuration, the Moto G 2015 will apparently sport a cool 13 megapixel rear-facing unit and a generous 5 MP front-facing shooter. The handset will be powered by a 2,470 mAh battery and priced at 11,999 Rupees ($187).
Release has been set for Tuesday. Motorola also is expected to launch the Moto X 2015 and a DRIOID variant. Motorola has not yet confirmed the Moto G 2015 specifications, features and price.
