Motorola One Power Design, Specs Revealed In Leaked Render
Motorola has remained quiet on when it will officially announce thew new Motorola One Power smartphone. However, a fresh new leak may have already revealed the upcoming phone’s full specs, alongside a new press render.
The press render for the Motorola One power was shared online by 91Mobiles. The new image confirms that the upcoming handset will arrive with an iPhone X-style notch on top of its display, dual cameras on its back and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The new press render appears to closely match the render of the handset that was leaked in May. The only difference here is that the new press render doesn’t have Motorola’s “M” batwing logo on the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Motorola One Power is said to have a unibody design, but there’s no information yet on whether it will have a metallic or plastic body. Despite having a design that’s very similar to the iPhone X, the One Power still has a bit of a bottom bezel. On the back, the dual cameras are vertically aligned, which is once again a design element that’s reminiscent of the iPhone X.
The Motorola One Power will have its volume and power button on the right side of the handset. It’s also expected that the device will have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset will also have a special nano-coating from P2i that will provide a level of water-resistance.
The Motorola One Power will have a 6.18-inch display with a full- HD+ screen resolution. Since it’s currently the smartphone trend, the upcoming phone will have a tall aspect ratio of 19:9. It’s expected that the new Motorola Android phone will have a screen-to-body ratio of 81 percent.
Inside, the Motorola One Power will be packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, which is expected to be power efficient with its 14nm architecture. The handset will also have 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage. As its name suggests, the device will have a massive 5,000mAh battery. The leaked specs sheet says that the handset will have support for 15W fast charging through its USB Type-C port.
As for the cameras, the Motorola one power will have 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras on its back. Up front, the handset will have a 12MP camera that’s also equipped with its own selfie flash. The front camera will also be used for a face unlock feature and it should support portrait mode. The front and back cameras are expected to have support for AI features, as pointed out by Phone Arena.
Motorola hasn’t provided any official information yet on when the One Power will be announced or released. However, IFA 2018 will kick off next week on Aug. 31 and it’s possible that the Motorola One Power might be announced at the event. The handset might also be accompanied by a smaller variant that’s rumored to be called the Motorola One.
