‘Nashville’ Season 4 Spoilers: Deacon’s Wedding Vows Revealed? Watch Midseason Premiere Promo Video
“Nashville” Season 4 will finally return from hiatus in March, and it’ll bring plenty of romance. A new video shows a glimpse of Deacon (Charles Esten) and Rayna’s (Connie Britton) big day, and it looks like fans will need some to bring some tissues.
ABC released an extended promo video that follows Deacon and Rayna’s relationship through the years. Fans can relive the drama, heartbreak and emotional proposal in the clips below. However, the exciting part starts at the 1:40 mark.
The video also seems to show a wedding rehearsal, with the country singers practicing their first kiss as husband and wife by a lake. Deacon’s wedding vows also may have been revealed. “Rayna, you have always changed my world for the better,” he says as he wears a dapper suit. “There is no one I would rather have beside me on this journey.”

Of course, viewers have seen Rayna about to walk down the aisle before. In Season 3, she came close to marrying Luke (Will Chase). However, it doesn’t sound like fans have to worry about a runaway bride situation. “Nashville” showrunner Dee Johnson said the real challenges come after the wedding.
“They're already living together so part of it doesn't change that much, but making it real definitely has its impact,” Johnson told the Hollywood Reporter in December. “Now they're really working on being a formally drawn family and that is isn't as easy as it seems. Happily ever after usually don't come right away.”
Rayna and Deacon’s wedding will be missing one guest: Juliette (Hayden Panettiere). The starlet will still be in rehab in the midseason premiere. Panettiere returned to the “Nashville” Season 4 set in January after taking a medical leave for postpartum depression, much like her character. TVLine reports that Juliette won’t make it back for the big day, which is in episode 11. She will first be seen in episode 14.
“Nashville” Season 4, episode 11 premieres Wednesday, March 16 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
