‘Nashville’ Season 4 Spoilers: See Juliette’s Return In Photos From Episode 14

She’s back! After a long absence from “Nashville” Season 4, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) is finally returning to Music City. She has been in rehab for postpartum depression (as has actress Panettiere), but it looks like she is ready to take back her spot in the limelight. New photos from episode 14 show Juliette reuniting with Avery (Jonathan Jackson) and their daughter, Cadence.

It looks like Juliette will be bonding with her daughter. In the midseason premiere, Emily (Kourtney Hansen) told Avery that the country star had been doing really well during her visits with Cadence in rehab. This is certainly a change from when Juliette was avoiding her daughter earlier this season.

However, Emily takes Cadence to visit Juliette. Avery has refused to see his ex-wife, but he won’t be able to avoid her anymore in episode 14, titled “What I Cannot Change.” The two are definitely going to see each other, but it doesn’t look like they’re getting along. Avery has been getting tired of lying recently and wants to tell people about their divorce, but will Juliette’s return affect his feelings?

Her relationship isn’t doing well. Not only is Avery determined to move on, he might be getting a new love interest. In the promo video for the second half of “Nashville” Season 4, she seems very concerned about who he has been spending time with. Watch the trailer below:

Juliette’s return won’t be easy. According to the synopsis, she “finally returns to Nashville after receiving treatment for postpartum depression and finds herself at a critical crossroads upon her homecoming.” It isn’t clear what that “crossroads” will be, but viewers should expect her to still be tough.

“She'll have been off the radar for a bit but I think when she does come back, she's going to come back strong and repaired as much as one can repair,” executive producer Dee Johnson told the Hollywood Reporter in December. That might mean getting right back onto the red carpet. Other photos show Juliette dolled up for some sort of event.
