‘Nashville’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 5 Synopsis, Videos And Photos Released

“Nashville” took Juliette to a dark place last week. The singer realized that she had been raped as a little girl, and that new information will make her feel like she needs her self-help group even more in Season 6, episode 5.

Juliette’s (Hayden Panettiere) vulnerable position is something Darius (Josh Stamberg) will take advantage of on the CMT drama. He’ll ask her to take a big step with the group, forcing to Avery (Jonathan Jackson) to finally speak up. “Darius invites Juliette to get more involved with the Movement while Avery voices his opinion,” the synopsis says.

Avery has tried to warn Juliette to be cautious of Darius before, but she hasn’t been open to his opinion.

At least Avery has his band to distract him. He’s still playing with Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Will (Chris Carmack), but they decide another voice would be a nice addition. In the sneak-peek video for episode 5, titled “Where The Night Goes,” they are seen playing when Gunnar says he wants someone else to sing the high parts.

“Somebody who’s great to look at, super talented and can sing high. I think it’s a good idea,” Gunnar says.

Elsewhere, Maddie (Lennon Stella) finds herself getting more public with Jonah (Nic Luken), but once again, Maddie isn’t thrilled by the attention. “Jonah’s ex releases a song about Maddie,” the synopsis teases. Will the publicity finally force Maddie to break things off with Jonah or will he charm his way back into her heart?

Maddie’s father, Deacon (Charles Esten), is also taking new steps in his relationship. “Deacon and Jessie’s relationship deepens,” the logline reveals.

Deacon has had a rough year, and Jessie (Kaitlin Doubleday) has really grown close to him. However, she’s not Rayna, and that seems to be putting extra pressure on Jessie.

“I know that I’m not her. She was larger than life, and I can’t compete with that,” Jessie says.
