‘Nashville’ Season 6 Spoilers: See Episode 7 Synopsis, Promo Video And Photos
Brad Maitland is becoming a bigger problem. “Nashville” Season 6 has been hinting at his creepiness all season, but he isn’t just lurking around in episode 7. He’ll be pulling some strings to create drama.
Brad (Jeff Nordling) gave his card to Alannah (Rainee Lyleson) last week, and it seems pretty clear that he wants to grab her before Deacon’s (Charles Esten) Highway 65 can sign her. His praise for her will only create more focus on the leading lady.
“Alannah’s stage presence grows, creating a division in the band,” the synopsis for the CMT drama says.
But Brad isn’t just a music executive. He’s also a parent. Daphne (Maisy Stella) and Jake (Myles Moore) will perform at their school’s open house, and of course, all the parents will be there to watch. “Deacon and Jessie (Kaitlin Doubleday) run into Brad,” the episode 7 logline teases.
It’s a school event, so don’t expect any fisticuffs on this week’s “Nashville,” just some extremely tense moments. Brad will also taking a liking to Daphne, which is concerning, to say the least. Daphne will love the praise, but Deacon will have to make sure she doesn’t enter Brad’s music competition.
Watch him try to discourage her in the “Nashville” Season 6, episode 7 promo video below:
Of course, there will be plenty of relationship drama. As Deacon and Jessie get more serious, Maddie (Lennon Stella) will try to get closer to Jonah (Nic Luken). However, his busy career means he often leaves Maddie behind with his entourage.
“Maddie joins Jonah in Miami, bonds with Twig (Dylan Arnold),” the synopsis says. Are the two still just flirting, or is a full blown love triangle about to commence?
Elsewhere, Gunnar (Sam Palladio) will have trouble keeping his new relationship just casual while Avery (Jonathan Jackson) finally explains that he has much bigger problems than his bandmates dating.
Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) still isn’t home after leaving without a word for a service trip, so Avery decides to go after his wife. He heads to Bolivia to find her, and it’ll be a pretty dramatic reunion.
The only “Nashville” regular audiences won’t get to catch up with is Scarlett. Actress Clare Bowen is not in this week’s episode.
Enjoy the new “Nashville” episodes while they last. This is the penultimate episode before the midseason finale (Feb. 22). The latter half of the season, including the series finale, will air this summer.
“Nashville” Season 6, episode 7, titled “Can’t Help But Wonder Where I’m Bound,” airs Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on CMT.
