NBC’s ‘Manifest’ Series Premiere: Here’s How You Know The Cast
NBC’s new drama series, “Manifest,” which follows the passengers of a flight that left in 2013 and mysteriously reappears in 2018, premieres at 10 p.m. EDT. While the show itself will be new to viewers, its cast might seem familiar. Here’s where you’ve seen some of the “Manifest” stars before.
Melissa Roxburgh (Michaela Stone)
Before landing the lead role in NBC’s new drama, Roxburgh jumped around a lot on The CW. The actress was on a couple episodes of “Arrow,” before moving over to “The Tomorrow People,” “Supernatural” and “Legends of Tomorrow.” Most recently, she starred on the network’s one-season series, “Valor,” as Thea.
Josh Dallas (Ben Stone)
While he’s had a few movie and TV show roles here and there over the years, Dallas is best known for his major role on the ABC fantasy series, “Once Upon a Time.” He played David Nolan and Prince Charming on the show from 2011 until 2017, before coming back for the series finale earlier this year.
Athena Karkanis (Grace Stone)
Aside from playing Agent Perez in the “Saw” franchise, Karkanis has a lot of acting experience over in the TV world. She started off voicing characters on the show “Stickin’ Around,” before doing a lot of guest star roles. She played Dawn on the teen drama “The Best Years” in 2007, Agent Massi on “The Border” and, most recently, Abigail on “Zoo.” She’s also been voicing characters on “Wild Kratts” since 2011.
J.R. Ramirez (Jared Vasquez)
Just like Roxburgh, Ramirez did quite a bit of acting on The CW before joining NBC’s “Manifest.” He was on “90210,” “Emily Owens M.D.” and “Arrow.” He took on the role of Julio in the show “Power” from 2014 to 2017 and was Oscar Arocho in Season 2 of “Jessica Jones.”
Luna Blaise (Olive Stone)
The actress’ most notable role was that of Nicole on the ABC comedy series, “Fresh Off the Boat.” She’s been in that role since 2015, and now she’s ready to give a dramatic TV role a go.
Jack Messina (Cal)
This will be Messina’s first credited onscreen role.
Parveen Kaur (Saanvi)
After portraying Aanya on “The Strain” for a few episodes in 2015, Kaur played Dr. Asha Mirani on “Saving Hope.” She most recently starred as Christine on Freeform’s “Beyond” for a few episodes from 2016 to 2018.
