“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10, episode 20 will not be airing this weekend. While the fans wait for another week for their favorite TV show, there are some exciting things to look forward to in the upcoming episodes.

The plot of the next episode will be about Sam (LL Cool J) promising to personally apprehend a suspect who attacked a Navy Seal. The attack happens during the Navy SEAL’s part time job as a security officer at a marijuana dispensary.

Perhaps the most significant part of the upcoming episodes in the current season is the return of two characters from the popular “JAG” TV series. Catherine Bell and David James Elliot will be reprising their roles as Lt. Col. “Mac” Sarah MacKenzie and Captain Harmon “Harm” Rabb Jr., respectively, in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10.

Elliot’s character will first appear in the May 12 episode titled “The Guardian.” The plot of that episode will revolve around the team going after ISIS sympathizers who plan to attack a U.S. aircraft carrier, Entertainment Weekly reported. The case will require Sam and Callen (Chris O’Donnell) to work with Captain Harmon Rabb Jr., who is now the XO Captain on the USS Interpid.

Executive Producer R. Scott Gemmill said in a statement that he was “really excited” to get a chance to work with Elliot again. Gemmill previously worked with Elliot in the first four seasons of the “JAG” TV series. The producer felt that the actor reprising his role from the previous show is “amazing.”

As far as the impact of bringing in Captain Harmon Rabb Jr. on the plot of the show is concerned, Gemmill said in a statement that the character working with the “NCIS” team will make for a “formidable coalition,” TV Line reported. Both the “JAG” character and the crime-fighting team will face the “greatest challenge of their careers” in the coming episodes.

While Captain Harmon Rabb Jr. will appear in the May 12 episode, Bell’s character Lt. Col. Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie will appear in the season finale episode on May 19, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 10, episode 20 will air on April 14 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS Television Network. The episode is titled “Choke Point.”
