Taylor Swift fans, Rejoice! A new documentary on Swift’s life is heading to Netflix next year.

In a press release obtained by E! News, the streaming giant announced that an original documentary, entitled “Taylor Swift: Miss Americana,” will be streaming live on its platform in the first half of 2020.

The press release stated that the documentary will give a “raw and emotional look” at one of the most iconic artists of this generation. The statement further added that people will be able to see her transformation from a “songwriter” to a woman who harnesses the full power of her “voice.”

The documentary, which is directed by Lana Wilson, will be available on Netflix after having its premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival in January.

The news of the documentary comes after Swift was involved in a feud with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta. The “You Need To Calm Down” singer noted that Borchetta and Braun prohibited her from performing her old songs on television, claiming that they (Borchetta and Braun) would be re-recording her music first.

But Swift came to an agreement with Borschetta and Braun and performed some of her iconic hits at the AMAs.

Now, a report claims that Braun’s record label, Big Machine Label Group, has already cleared all the songs from the songstress and the clearances were granted within a timely manner.

Recently, in an interview with Vogue, the “Lover” hitmaker discussed the importance of owning the rights of her own creation.

The ten-time Grammy award-winning artist emphasized the importance of owning what someone wrote because it is really important for a writer to fight for what he or she has made. “Even if you are not a natural writer, you should try to involve yourself in the messages you are sending,” Swift explained.

Swift is all set to receive Billboard’s first-ever Woman of the Decade award at the Billboard’s Women in Music event on Dec. 12. The music industry chart announced that the musician will be receiving the prestigious trophy for her success in her career that includes five number one albums on Billboard 200 and many more achievements.
