Black Widow

Scarlett Johannson's fans can finally watch the much-awaited, "Black Widow," which was released Friday. The movie also marks her first Marvel solo movie. Also starring Florence Pugh and Robert Downey Jr., the movie is streaming on Disney+ and is available in theaters too. Cate Shortland's directorial revolves around Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow's life before becoming an Avenger. Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson have scripted the film.

Fear Street Part 2: 1978

While the "Fear Street Part 1: 1994" was dropped on July 1, Netflix released "Fear Street Part 2: 1978" Thursday. If you are fond of horror movies, then Leigh Janiak helmed trilogy, set in the cursed town of Shadyside, is a perfect pick for you. The movie stars Sadie Sink, Emily Rudd, and Ryan Simpkins in the lead roles. The third and the last installment of the movie series, "Fear Street Part Three: 1666," will drop on July 16.

How I Became a Superhero

Douglas Attal helmed "How I Became a Superhero," released on Netflix Friday. The movie is about how some regular people get superpowers after consuming a new drug. It is based on Phyllis Hoppes' book with the same name which came out in 2018.

Meander

Directed by Mathieu Turi, "Meander" is a sci-fi horror movie. The movie revolves around a young woman who has been kidnapped by a man and trapped in bizarre claustrophobic tubes. While the movie is available in theatres, it is also streaming on Apple TV, Vudu, Fandango.

Summertime

Looking for a fun musical drama over the weekend? Here's a story of two aspiring rappers, a skating guitarist, and a fast-food worker, who cross each other's paths during a hot summer in Los Angeles. This 90-minute-long uplifting movie is helmed by Carlos López Estrada, who also directed Disney animated movie, "Raya and the Last Dragon."
