New York Fashion Week: Kanye West Preps For Yeezy Season 3, Gives Sneak Peek On Twitter

Kanye West is getting ready to showcase his eponymous Yeezy Season 3 Collection at the New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for spring/summer edition in February. The rapper-cum-designer took to Twitter to give a sneak peek of a few looks from the much-anticipated presentation at Madison Square Garden on Thursday. Kanye’s show will coincide with the release of his highly-anticipated new album.

Kim Kadashian West’s husband posted a series of pictures on Twitter Monday. His new Yeezy Season 3 is slated to be more colorful going by the photographs. There is a picture of a knitted sweater in red and black.

Another picture shows a foot in a bright turquoise and orange sock wearing a clear-heeled sandal, bringing back the socks and sandal trend. Another is a close-up of waterproof gray and purple Boost 1050s. Another picture shows an all-white Yeezy 350 Boost.

Meanwhile, Yeezy Season 3 is already a must-see show with tickets for the show being sold out in 10 minutes. As Kanye will drop his new yet untitled album, there is a lot of craze among his fans for the NYFW presentation. The musician took to Twitter to give out the title of his new album “The Life Of Pablo” and its tracklist.

Besides, the 38-year-old rapper who is known to style his wife, posted pictures of an opulent outfit. The outfit -- skirt features beaucoup pearls, crystals, embroidery and metallic fringe. It is paired with a snagged, hole-filled sweater that is ribbed in his signature flesh shade. He has captioned the pictures as “wifeylook” and “wife outfit," respectively.

So this time around his outfits will move slightly away from his previous, flesh-colored collections. This time in his collection footwear and socks seem to have a prominent place. There were also black and pink gloves and red and black socks in Yeezy Season 3.

Model Baina Laviena participated in the fittings. Also, A$AP Rocky will reportedly be connected with Kayne’s show in some way. The father-of-two will also release a new e-zine titled “Season 2 Zine,” according to his tweet. Besides, acclaimed photographer Jackie Nickerson, who had worked with Kanye in his last two lookbooks is also working with him this time too.

The duo are said to be in the lookout for a venue for their e-zine launch party. Meanwhile, according to a tweet by the rapper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather might sit front row, apart from his wife and family.
