Nikki Bella Feels Stuck In ‘Triangle’ Following John Cena Split, Artem Chigvintsev Relationship

Nikki Bella and John Cena may have split, but she fears she will always be linked to her ex-boyfriend because of their highly publicized relationship.

Since Bella’s split from the WWE star, she has been dating Artem Chigvintsev. Meanwhile, Cena has been in a relationship with Shay Shariatzadeh. Although the two are happy in their respective relationships, Bella doesn’t like the fact that she is still being linked to Cena.

During the Wednesday episode of “The Bellas Podcast,” Nikki told Hannah Ann Sluss that she is still dealing with her and Cena’s relationship. “Going through a public breakup, that was difficult,” she told Sluss.

“What was tough about that was it came out before a season on air, so people thought it was a publicity stunt.”

Although “The Total Bellas” star is happy in her relationship with Chigvintsev, and the two are expecting their first child together, she is concerned that she won’t be able to dissociate with Cena. “I’m always, constantly going to Brie, like, ‘Am I ever gonna get away from this?’” she revealed.

“Artem will deal with stuff, and I even know that my ex-fiancé will deal with stuff, and it’s hard.”

Even though Bella and Cena have been broken up for almost three years, she is worried the public will always see them as an item despite their new romances. “I feel like I’m gonna have this triangle for the rest of my life,” she explained.

“So I just try to have this shell that fights it all, because it used to get to me really bad, for a long time,” the wrestler admitted.

While Bella admitted she doesn’t want to “erase memories” that she and Cena have made together, she wants people to respect the fact that they have both moved on to new relationships.
