Nikki Reed Shares Sweet Anniversary Message For Ian Somerhalder On Instagram

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder are celebrating their second wedding anniversary. The couple seem to be just as head over heels for each other and even posted sweet anniversary greetings for each other on their respective social media pages.

Reed posted a sweet tribute for her hubby on their special day to express her love and affection for him. “My guy, my man, my honey, my partner in this life, my better half in every way,” Reed wrote on her Instagram account. “Every day gets better, every moment calling for even more. Navigating the waters of life with you is the greatest and most rewarding adventure I've ever known. We climb, we grow, and we laugh at all of it. Thank you for being exactly who you are, and for loving all of me. Thank you for your willingness to go even deeper. Until you, I had no idea what could be. Until you...Happy Anniversary.”

Reed accompanied her post with a wedding photo of her and Somerhalder kissing and embracing. She can be seen holding a drink in one hand and a bouquet on the other. In the snap, the background appears to be blurred, but there seems to a band playing behind them.

Of course, the “Vampire Diaries” star didn’t miss the opportunity to make his wife feel special and loved. Somerhalder took to his social media account an hour before midnight on Wednesday to share a sweet video for the love of his life.

In the video Somerhalder posted on Instagram, he can be seen listening to a song that Reed sang. The actor said he believes this was the best way to celebrate their second wedding anniversary. “When the clock strikes in less than 1hr its two years married my beautiful love. I can only hope for a million more to come,” he wrote.

Somerhalder and Reed tied the knot in Malibu, California on April 26, 2015. They got engaged after dating for six months and exchanged “I do’s” just months later, Entertainment Tonight reported.

It was Somerhalder’s first wedding. but the second one for Reed. She filed for divorce from her first husband, Paul McDonald, in May 2014, and it was finalized in January 2015, just a few weeks before she announced her engagement to Somerhalder.
