Nina Dobrev Dances On Tim Tebow In ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Sneak-Peek Video

Nina Dobrev might be relying on a little more than her fake singing skills to win “Lip Sync Battle.” The former “Vampire Diaries” star gets very flirty with Tim Tebow in a clip from Thursday’s episode.

The 27-year-old sings Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” in the sneak-peek video. Dressed in a leather jacket and thigh-high boots, Dobrev’s look is a little reminiscent of her “Vampire Diaries” character Katherine Pierce. It seems like Dobrev might even be channeling the sexy vampire as she starts to dance on Tebow. The football player doesn’t look quite as entertained as host LL Cool J.

Tebow’s performance isn’t quite as flirty. He performs Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger” while imitating Rocky Balboa in another clip. Dobrev watches on while wearing a full football uniform. It seems Dobrev used Tebow’s career as an NFL player for inspiration.

“I called a lot of my friends that are big football guys,” she said in a pre-show interview. “I got a few pointers on what Tim’s –isms are, so you guys might see a little bit of that in my choreography.”

It isn’t too surprising that Dobrev would partake in such a silly show. The Canadian starlet recently talked about her love of fun on “Glee” star Jenna Ushkowitz’s podcast “Infinite Positives.” Dobrev explained that she wants to make sure she lives her life to the fullest. “I definitely do like to have a lot of fun,” she said. “You have no idea how long you’re going to be on this earth, so that time has to be epic.”

Dobrev and Tebow’s episode of “Lip Sync Battle” airs Thursday at 10 p.m. EST on Spike.
