OJ Simpson Reportedly Dying Of Cancer, Requests Clemency And Allegedly Confesses To Nicole Brown's Murder

Now this is a story: O.J. Simpson is dying of brain cancer, has but three months to live, is seeking presidential clemency and even confessed to killing Nicole Brown Simpson. This sounds like something that could only come from the National Enquirer! Alas, it is a National Enquirer story, but inquiring minds read on.

Simpson is currently serving time in a Nevada prison for kidnapping, assault and robbery in Las Vegas, and has reportedly asked for President Barack Obama to pardon him since he doesn’t have much longer to live. (In fact, clemency for a state crime would come from the governor, not the president.) The former NFL and movie star reportedly is suffering from a malignant brain tumor, according to the National Enquirer.

The 66-year-old football great and ex-actor is also battling a “serious case of diabetes,” the National Enquirer wrote, which is life-threatening itself. The gossip site cited an "anonymous source" who said Simpson is suffering a multitude of symptoms.

“O.J. says his memory is slipping and he gets painful headaches and other symptoms He began suffering dizzy spells; nausea, lapses in memory – and the frightening symptoms continue to get worse,” the source said. “He put off the doctors for weeks after he first started experiencing the symptoms because he was afraid of what they would find. Now the prison docs are telling him they believe he has a brain tumor. They plan to run a series of tests on him, MRIs and CT scans.”

Since Simpson, who was famously acquitted in 1995 of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, doesn’t think he has much time to live, he supposedly wrote a letter to the president asking he be granted clemency before he dies behind bars while serving a 33-year sentence. He would need to wait at least four years to be eligible for parole.

“Mr. President, I know my life is coming to an end,” the note purportedly reads. “Please, don’t let me die in prison. I feel the end coming. But I don’t want to die in prison like common jailhouse scum.”

Doctors have reportedly said Simpson only has three months to live and the once-popular celebrity has supposedly become so depressed that he no longer taking care of himself.

“O.J.’s doctors have told him he could be dead in as little as three months because of his out-of-control blood sugar and blood pressure,” the source said. “But O.J. doesn’t care. He knows he’s never going to get out of prison, so he refuses to take care of himself.”

Furthermore, the article states that inmates have repeatedly asked Simpson if he actually murdered Nicole and he has reportedly admitted it after being subjected to the constant hounding. The news site said Simpson said he would do it again if he were in the same situation. His apparent admissions have come out since he thinks he’s a walking dead man away and doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

No official confession to the murders has come from Simpson, and it's all rumors.
