Olivia Munn Shares Selfie Featuring Son Malcom: 'Feel A Little Less Post Partum'
Olivia Munn shared a mirror selfie on Instagram that showed her getting a hair transformation while cradling her son Malcolm on her lap.
The 41-year-old actress took the selfie during her session with hairstylist Kiley Fitzgerald. In the photo shared Sunday, the actress could be seen wearing a blue robe and holding the baby. Munn shares eight-week-old Malcolm with stand-up comedian John Mulaney.
In the photo, Malcolm was seen in an adorable black beanie and a white baby suit. Fitzgerald, on the other hand, donned a purple t-shirt and a black mask.
"When your friend shows up and surprises you with a blowout even though you’re in your robe and not going anywhere," Munn captioned the photo. "Thank you @bykileyfitz for making today feel a little less post partum. ILYSM!"
Fitzgerald commented, "Love you!!!" while journalist Elaine Welteroth wrote, "Cutiessss."
Fans also took to the comments section to share their reaction.
"Now that is friendship! Better than a tator tot casserole!" one of the fans wrote. "It happens to so many moms. Take girl, doll. You ARE enough, even when you don’t feel like it," another fan commented.
Munn and Mulaney announced the birth of their first child on Christmas Eve in 2021. "My Golden Ox baby. Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. Happy Holidays," Munn captioned the photo at that time.
Mulaney also took to Instagram on Christmas Eve and shared a photo of the baby boy. "Meet Malcolm Hiệp Mulaney. He has his whole life ahead of him. He hasn’t even tried seltzer yet," he captioned the photo at that time. "I’m very in love with him and his whole deal. Happy Holidays."
Munn and Mulaney first met in 2015 during an event. They began dating in May 2021 following Mulaney's split with make-up artist, Anna Marie Tendler.
On the work front, the actress gave voice-over in the animated TV series "Hit-Monkey," which was aired in November 2021. She will be next feature in "Aleppo," a movie which is currently under pre-production.
Mulaney, on the other hand, is a regular on the TV series "Big Mouth" since 2017. He lent his voice in an animated movie, "Chip 'n' Dale: Rescue Rangers," which is slated to release in April this year.
