Olivia Rodrigo Shines In Strapless Black Dress At Academy Museum Opening Gala [Photos]

Olivia Rodrigo showed some skin on the red carpet as she attended the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The 18-year-old "Good 4 U" singer turned heads with her strapless black Saint Laurent dress from Anthony Vaccarello, which revealed her cleavage. The black ensemble also had a thigh-high slit and a plunging neckline.

Interestingly, the dress also had pockets, Page Six reported.

"Olivia Rodrigo is slowly becoming one of my favorites. Helps when she wear dresses like that," a Twitter user said in a tweet describing Rodrigo's sexy look.

The Filipino-American popstar's bold red lip was a perfect match for the daring black ensemble coupled with the soft waves that framed her face.

The glamorous look was a breather from Rodrigo's usual punk-rock getup, which she wore while promoting her debut album, "Sour."

Fans of Rodrigo engaged in a brawl during the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Sept. 18. What started as a heated exchange of words became physical as the argument escalated.

A viral video caught the concertgoers yelling at each other before punches were thrown at each other as Rodrigo was belting out her hit track "Drivers License" in the background.

"Sometimes you gotta beat that arse and get it over with. Say Word," a Twitter user wrote while sharing a photo of a woman in a white outfit punching a woman in a black top.

In the video, a male fan could be heard chanting Rodrigo's song loudly even as the two women fought, TMZ reported.

"Bro, we were just tryna enjoy Olivia Rodrigo," the woman in black told the other woman. But the latter punched her before a man in a printed shirt broke the fight.

Rodrigo seemed blissfully unaware of the incident and later told the audience they were "the best crowd ever" as she called the experience "amazing," Page Six reported.

Rodrigo recently admitted that she once thought only white girls would be recognized as true pop stars.

The teenage singing sensation acknowledged her ethnicity and told V Magazine, "I sometimes get DMs from little girls being like, 'I've never seen someone who looked like me in your position.' And I'm literally going to cry, like, just thinking about it."

"I feel like I grew up never seeing that. Also, it was always like, 'Pop star,' that's a white girl," she added.
