"Once Upon A Time"

ABC's "Once Upon A Time" will be returning for its second season on Sunday, Sept. 30, and they are really ramping up the drama. A new promo video for season two has hit the web, and it appears that no one is safe in Storybrooke anymore.

The new promo video amps up the anticipation for the season two premiere. ABC has been teasing that "Magic is coming" with new posters, and the video posted on Spoiler TV proves that they are not messing around.

Fans can see that Regina, despite accidentally poisoning her adopted son Henry, is still the same old Evil Queen. While it appears that her character won't change, Emma definitely is.

Season one found Emma to be in denial of the fairy tales that Henry was telling, but in season two Emma will be channeling her powers.

The promo video shows Emma wielding a sword (something fans can also see in promotional photos), and throwing it at a dragon. While we can't be certain until the show premieres, it's likely that the dragon is none other than Maleficent, played by "True Blood's" Kristin Bauer van Straten. In the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty", the witch Maleficent casts a sleeping spell on Princess Aurora, and later turns into a dragon to keep Prince Phillip away from her.

The theory that Emma is fighting Maleficent is further fueled by the fact that the video teases the arrival of Prince Phillip, to be played by "Pretty Little Liars" actor Julian Morris.

Besides a more hands on Emma, fans are also getting a peak at the latest "Lost" crossover...the Smoke Monster. The purple smoke sweeping through Storybrooke might not actually be the Smoke Monster from "Lost," but it further emphasizes that "Magic is coming." The video shows the purple smoke quickly creeping up on Mary Margaret and David as they embrace in fear in the street.

"Once Upon A Time" promises a drama and action packed second season, and that won't come without the help of some new fairy tale characters. Take a look below to see what other tales will be coming to life in Storybrooke on Sept. 30.

The Giant

"Lost" star Jorge Garcia will be stomping through Storybrooke as "The Giant"...possibly of the fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk." As of now, TVLine reports that fans will only catch Garcia as the Giant for one episode, but it could possibly be a juicy one. One theory regarding the Giant's story line is that he will have or know where Rumpelstiltskin's son is.

Mulan

"Sucker Punch" star Jamie Chung will be kicking butt this season as warrior princess Mulan. "I go on a journey with Prince Phillip to find his princess, Aurora," Chung previously told TVGuide. "There's this evil spirit that's moving and my character ends up bonding with Sleeping Beauty."

Sleeping Beauty

Princess Aurora will be played by "Tudors" actress Sarah Bolger. She is bound to be in some sort of trouble with Maleficent lurking around, but luckily has Mulan and Prince Phillip (and possibly Emma) to rescue her.

Prince Phillip

"Pretty Little Liars" star Julian Morris will be playing his own version of Prince Charming when he swoops in this season to rescue his love, Sleeping Beauty. The video suggests that fans of "Once Upon A Time" might feast eyes on him in episode one of season two.

Captain Hook

Colin O'Donoghue will be brining some one-handed action to the show when he takes up the role of Captain Hook. According to TVLine, Captain Hook may appear to be a "proper gentleman," but in reality "won't rest until his enemies have been defeated."

Sir Lancelot

Described as a "sword for hire with nothing to lose," Sir Lancelot will be played by "Teen Wolf" star Sinqua Walls. Stories tell us that Sir Lancelot was once part of King Arthur's Round Table, but was banished. Lancelot is currently only set to appear in one episode.

A Mystery Role For Michael Raymond-James

Michael Raymond-James may have played bad guy Rene on "True Blood," but his role in season two of "Once Upon A Time" is being kept a secret. TVLine has its own theories about the recurring role for the actor. According to the site, they believe that Raymond-James could be playing the grown son of Rumpelstiltskin, Baelfire.

"Once Upon A Time" returns to ABC for its second season on Sunday, Sept. 30.
