'One Piece' Chapter 1003 Spoilers Prove Why Zoro Is Luffy's Rayleigh

Apart from showing the explosive battles happening in various parts of Onigashima, the latest spoilers for "One Piece" Chapter 1003 hint that Zoro is indeed Luffy's Silvers Rayleigh. The incoming chapter is titled "The Night On the Board."

"One Piece" Chapter 1003 starts with Luffy using his Gomu Gomu no Gatling against Kaido and losing his ability to use haki for ten minutes. This forces the Straw Hats captain to sit out the Onigashima war, which is a terrible choice. At this point, Luffy is in a helpless state as he could not even protect or defend himself, but Oda makes sure it will not happen by putting Zoro in the limelight.

In previous chapters, even when Luffy was at full power, Zoro, along with other Supernovas, were there to defend and fight alongside each other. However, in the incoming chapter, Oda seemingly confirms fans' belief that Zoro is Luffy's Silvers Rayleigh. The Dark King is Roger's first mate and is known as the Right Hand Man of the Pirate King.

While Zoro and Rayleigh have different fighting skills, both are willing to lay down their lives for their captain. In "One Piece" Chapter 1003, Zoro uses his Black Dragon Tornado attack to save Luffy again from Kaido, according to spoilers. Fans saw in the previous chapter that the Pirate Hunter was unleashing monstrous attacks toward Kaido and Big Mom.

While all Straw Hats crew were willing to die for each other, Zoro did the unthinkable in "One Piece" Episode 377. He tried to fight for his captain who, at that time, was lying helpless on the ground. Through his valiant effort, Kuma made a deal with him and transferred all of Luffy's pain to his body. Even if Kuma warned him that he could die from this, the Pirate Hunter discarded it and told him his captain's pain was also his.

Aside from Zoro, other Supernovas continue to combat the Emperors of the Sea in the incoming chapter. However, Kaido and Big Mom prove formidable and both let out powerful attacks relentlessly. Things are getting more exciting but with opponents like the yonkos, it seems like it's going to take some time before the decisive War in Onigashima ends.
