Paris Hilton's Husband Carter Reum Has A 9-Year-Old Love Child: 'He Has Provided For Her'

Paris Hilton's husband, Carter Reum, already has a child from a previous relationship.

Hilton and Reum tied the knot in a lavish wedding last week. Interestingly, it's now been revealed that the groom has a love child from a previous relationship who is already 9 years old, a source told Page Six.

Reum reportedly shares his daughter with Laura Bellizzi, a reality star who appeared on VH-1's "Secrets of Aspen." She is a native of Chicago and now lives in California with their child. Bellizzi also reportedly dated actor Mel Gibson briefly.

"The people who this story matters to have known about it for 10 years. Carter supports this child. While he does not have a traditional father-daughter relationship with her, he has provided for her since she was born, and will continue to do so," Reum's spokesperson said.

The millionaire venture capitalist reportedly signed a document acknowledging the child despite not taking a paternity test. The outlet noted that the little girl felt "triggered" after seeing the coverage of her dad's wedding. She allegedly felt "left out of her father's life."

"Also, she saw the articles of Paris and Carter talking about starting a family. She felt tremendous rejection and felt left out. She wants to have a relationship with him," the source told the outlet.

The source added that Reum's daughter wanted to know him. She reportedly wanted to "complete the missing pieces of her puzzle." Furthermore, the insider said that she is at an age where self-identity is important. She's at the stage of her life where she wants to know who she is and where she came from. So, it's important for Reum to help her with that.

"It’s not about (Reum) or the mother. It’s about making the child whole. She is absolutely an amazing little girl. She has so much love to give. And she wants to give it to him, his family and whoever he chooses to love," the source added.

A second tipster said the child had a difficult time coping with his absence. She is also affected by the heavy publicity surrounding Reum's wedding to Hilton.

"I cannot begin to describe the pain she feels," the second source said. "She is of an age now where she is cognizant and wants her paternal family to hear her and know her. He may not claim or love her, but she claims and loves him and his family."

Bellizzi declined to comment on the issue.

Meanwhile, Hilton has been open about starting a family with Reum. In July, there were rumors that she was pregnant. However, she denied the rumors on her "This Is Paris" podcast saying they were not expecting a baby. Hilton said she wanted to wait after the wedding because her wedding dress was being made back then and she wanted it to fit perfectly.

"The only thing in the oven at the moment is my 'sliving' lasagna!" she said at the time while plugging her upcomign Netflix show, "Cooking with Paris."
