A Los Angeles court has reportedly granted Parvati Shallow’s request for a temporary domestic violence restraining order against her estranged husband John Fincher. The court granted her request Tuesday, a week after the “Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites” winner filed for divorce from Fincher, citing irreconcilable differences.

Court documents obtained by ET revealed that Shallow had requested the court to restrain Fincher from staying within 100 yards from her, her home, workplace, vehicle, and their 3-year-old daughter Ama. She also requested that Fincher attend anger management classes and not “harass, attack, strike, threaten, assault” her or get in touch with her “in any way.”

With the restraining order now in force, Fincher is required to move out of their home and stay at least 100 yards away from Shallow and Ama. He is also not allowed to visit their daughter. However, the judge did not grant Shallow’s request to require him to attend anger management classes.

In an Instagram post Monday, Shallow shared a photo of her with her support group and opened up about her life amid her divorce. “I’m going through a very hard time right now. In times of great challenge, I’ve learned to slow way down and take things moment by moment,” she captioned her post.

“My priority now is to create a brave, loving, & safe space for me and my daughter so that I can show up with calm presence, strength of heart, and resilience as we walk through this difficult time,” she added.

Shallow and Fincher tied the knot in July 2017 and welcomed their daughter Ama in July 2018. In 2020, Shallow competed in “Survivor: Winners at War,” a full decade after she competed in “Survivor: Heroes vs Villains,” and came in second place.

In an interview with ET at the time, she opened up about her experience re-joining the competition and how her strategy had been changed by motherhood. “I have changed a lot from 10 years ago, and being a mom has been the biggest transformation of my life,” she told the outlet.

“There was a vulnerability to me this time, coming back out there, that I hadn’t had before. There was an emotionality that was uncontrollable,” she added.
