A two-year-old boy escaped unhurt after quick-thinking passersby caught him just in time as he fell from the third floor of a building in Daman, a city on India’s west coast, on Tuesday.

The unidentified boy was playing on the third floor when he slipped and fell. The boy, however, managed to grab the grill of the window on the second floor and started crying loudly. The cries immediately grabbed the attention of the passersby who quickened their pace to catch the child.

A video of the incident showed a few people looking up at the building. Within seconds, two of them stretch out their arms to catch the boy. One of them manages to catch the toddler just in time and falls to the ground. Meanwhile, the others look at the building to figure out how the boy fell. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, the video of the incident has gone viral on social media with netizens terming the passersby as “heroes” for saving the child.

“Hats off to those guys, god bless u guys,” wrote one user. "God bless you all. You saved the heart of a mother and a whole family," wrote another Twitter user.

"Hats off to the people like them who save others in today's world. People don't care about anyone else these days," another person tweeted.
