Pauly D Wanted An Abortion? Amanda Markert Reportedly Selling Text Messages Asking Her To Terminate Pregnancy

“Jersey Shore” star Pauly D is now a father, after having a one-night stand with Amanda Markert. His daughter, Amabella, is five months old, but news just broke about the pregnancy this week.

Pauly D, who now DJs at various nightclubs, had the sexual encounter in Las Vegas with Markert, who already has a 5-year-old son, Mikey. The DJ is now fighting for custody, though the former Hooter’s waitress claims he initially asked Markert to have an abortion.

Markert is even trying to sell text messages from Pauly D to the media, reports TMZ. She claims her baby’s father asked her to terminate the pregnancy and offered her the money to do so. According to sources, she accepted the money but never followed through with the procedure. Now, she wants financial support from him to take care of their daughter.

"He feels like she's treating the kid like a winning lottery ticket," a source told the site.

Pauly D, whose real name is Paul DelVecchio, made the Forbes Highest-Paid DJ list last year. He made $11 million that year, due not only to his DJ career, but also his television show, “The Pauly D Project,” and numerous products he promotes, such as a tanning lotion. This should come as no surprise since the "Jersey Shore" castmate's motto is "GTL": gym, tan, laundry.

DelVecchio earns, on average, $40,000 for each show he does, which include private parties, notes Forbes.

And though Pauly D allegedly did not want the baby, he is now embracing his new role. "I'm proud I'm a father," he said when the news broke. "I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."

Pauly D is now the second “Jersey Shore” member to have a child. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has a one-year-old son with fiancé Jionni LaValle.
