Pink, Carey Hart welcome baby girl Willow Sage Hart

It's a baby girl for pop star Pink.

The 31 year old singer gave birth to a daughter and named her Willow Sage Hart. Willow was born on Thursday, June 2 in Los Angeles. She made the announcement via Twitter.

We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart, Pink wrote. She's gorgeous, just like her daddy #beyondblessed.

The baby's father is Carey Hart.

One day before giving birth, Pink tweeted a cryptic message about new beginnings and an auspicious astrological sky.

New Moon in Gemini today :) a good time to start something new ... Also called the Honey Moon. #intoit, she wrote.

Many speculated that this meant the arrival of her daughter and that she would be named Honey Moon.

Pink confirmed her pregnancy in November, after she was first spotted with a baby bump.

I didn't want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before, the singer told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show.

Pink also often wrote about her pregnancy on her Web site. In January Pink wrote I have a life inside of me, and I want her or him to know that I will accept him or her with open and loving and welcoming arms. And though I will prepare this little munchkin for a sometimes cruel world, I will also equip this kid to see all the beauty in it as well.
