‘Power’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 8 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Trust Me’? [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]
“Power” Season 3, episode 8 will see James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) questioning the loyalties of the people around him.
Starz has released the official synopsis for “Power” Season 3, episode 8, entitled “Trust Me,” which teased that St. Patrick will have a hard time trying to outsmart Milan (Callan Mulvey). A few episodes back, Milan forced him and Tommy (Joseph Sikora) back into the drug game as compensation for killing one of the Serbian drug lord’s men and sabotaging his drug shipment.
Ghost tried to take down Milan by having Dre (Rotimi) call the cops and pin his missing waitress Tatiana’s (Irina Dvorovenko) murder on the drug lord. But Milan later showed up in Tasha’s (Naturi Naughton) apartment with the girl herself, ruining St. Patrick’s plan. He also gave St. Patrick a not-so-subtle warning that he has access to his family and will take any transgressions on Ghost’s part out on Tasha and his son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.). In the next episode, it looks Milan will take it a step further and reach out to St. Patrick’s family members.
“The pressure on Mike and Angela ratchets up as the hunt for the mole intensifies," read the official “Power” Season 3, episode 8 synopsis. "Angela gets a new lead as to the identity of the mole, while she must scramble to solidify Tommy’s alibi for the Lobos murder. Meanwhile, Tasha receives a warning from a frightening visitor as Tariq makes a dangerous new friend. And as Milan issues an edict to push a new product in the streets, Ghost follows a lead that causes him to question who he can trust."
Based on the synopsis, Mike Sandoval (David Fumero) and Angela (Lela Loren) will also be working double time to catch the mole hiding within their ranks. In “Power” Season 3, episode 7, the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) interrogated Angela, Greg (Andy Bean), Sandoval, Saxe (Shane Johnson) and the rest of the task force after discovering that someone within the team had leaked Lobos’ (Enrique Murciano) whereabouts. Greg and MJ (Arija Bareikis) tried to pin it on Angela, who insisted that she wasn’t the mole and that her goal had been to “mount Lobos’ head on a wall” since the beginning. The interrogators eventually let her go, but soon after, Angela continued to do her own digging and confronted Ghost about Lobos’ death. When Ghost did not give her the information she wanted, Angela vowed, “If I go down, we all go down.”
