Although the Liars are hoping for a brief moment of happiness in lieu of all the drama, on “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, episode 18, the ladies will be hit with more trouble and some unexpected news.

“The Rosewood PD turn up the heat on the Liars, causing loved ones to try and close ranks,” the Freeform synopsis for “Choose or Lose” teases. Although the girls have been trying to prevent their loved ones from getting involved in their game with A.D., it looks like their efforts have failed.

In the promo for “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7, episode 18, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) can be seen holding what looks like a tablet that is possibly helping him get closer to a clue to help out the Liars as Ezra (Ian Harding) follows closely behind him.

Since Caleb and Hanna (Ashley Benson) got back together, the computer genius has been doing everything in his power to keep his girlfriend safe despite A.D’s attempts to harm her. Meanwhile, Ezra has noticed that Aria (Lucy Hale) is becoming distant and it looks like he may finally find out why.

“Aria’s recent collaboration with A.D. comes to the attention of a surprising source,” the synopsis for “Choose or Lose” says. In the promo for the Freeform series, Aria can be shredding a police report, most likely the one A.D. gave back to her that she wrote about Ezra but never filed.

In photos for the upcoming episode, the police are also seen at Aria and Ezra’s apartment taking away boxes. Could the police have found out about Aria’s dirty little secret?

“A.D. presents the gals with a choice designed to drive a wedge between them,” the synopsis states. In the promo, Hanna and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) can be seen confronting Aria in the woods after they find her wearing the notorious black hoodie worn by members of the “A” team.

“We’re done and I’m out,” Spencer can be heard saying as she looks shaken by their discovery of Aria’s betrayal. Will Aria be able to convince her friends that she is still on their side or will this be the end of their friendship?

“Toby (Keegan Allen) returns to Rosewood,” the synopsis also teases. Although Toby isn’t featured in the promo, the audience knows that he did leave Rosewood after Yvonne (Kara Royster) died in the hospital following their car accident.

Although it is unclear what his state of mind will be when he returns, he did break down in Spencer’s arms following Yvonne’s death giving Spoby fans some hope that the fan favorite couple may reunite.

“Aria makes a horrifying discovery,” the synopsis says. In the promo, Aria can be seen looking in her car trunk and screaming as a police car pulls up behind her. “I have done everything you asked me to do and you given me nothing,” Aria can be seen screaming into a phone, most likely at A.D.

Did A.D. kick Aria off of the “A” team? The villain has continuously warned Aria about executing the tasks that A.D. has assigned to her but it looks like the malicious character has grown tired of Aria’s resistance.

And what could be in Aria’s trunk? Seeing as the police are still looking for Archer Dunhill’s (Huw Collins) body, there is a good chance that his remains could be what has Aria shocked.

Will this be the end for Aria? Will A.D make her take the fall for Archer’s murder?
