Prince Andrew Could Have Married Princess Diana Lookalike Instead Of Sarah Ferguson

Prince Andrew dated a string of gorgeous women, including a Princess Diana lookalike, before marrying Sarah Ferguson.

Joe Gamp, a journalist for Express, recently revealed that Prince Andrew was once dubbed as the "playboy prince." He was known for his party lifestyle and heroic antics as a Royal Navy helicopter. He went out with several women, including Karolyn Herbert or Lady Carolyn Herbert, a woman who looks like Princess Diana.

The late Princess of Wales and Herbert bore a striking resemblance. They shared the same glamorous and flawless fashion sense. They also had the same facial features as both had a short haircut - a style that was considered fashionable at that time fashionable.

For some reasons, Prince Andrew and Herbert's relationship didn't work, but they remained friends. In fact, Prince Andrew and Princess Diana attended her wedding to John Warren.

"It was at lunch we were made to sit next to each other at Ascot," Prince Andrew revealed in an interview the exact moment he realized that Ferguson is the one for him. "It started from there."

Prince Andrew and Ferguson's marriage didn't work out, but they remain good friends. In fact, they reunited at Princess Eugenie's royal wedding earlier this month.

They never showed any signs of affection during the ceremony which surprised many as they were known to be affectionate to each other. Some believed that they didn't want to trigger Prince Philip who has still not forgiven Ferguson for her toegate scandal. Meanwhile, many wanted them to rekindle their romance and remarry.
