Prince Andrew did not impress students from a Labour group at the University of Huddersfield.

The Huddersfield Labour students slammed the Duke of York for his speech at the Pitch@Palace event in Abu Dhabi last month after the royal called for further links between the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. For them, Prince Andrew's comments were "incredibly insensitive and inflammatory." The group insisted that he resign from his position which he has held since 2015. They also accused Prince Charles' brother of "lack of concern for acts of injustice."

"Huddersfield Labour Students condemns the comments made by the University of Huddersfield Chancellor Prince Andrew, the Duke of York at the recent Pitch@Palace event in Abu Dhabi in regards to seeking closer relations through investments with the facist Saudi Arabian regime," the group said in a statement (via Express).

"In the brutal extrajudicial murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the Saudi Arabian government have shown their contempt for the values on which we, both as a modern university and as a developed nation, should be seeking to promote around the world," the group continued.

"The Duke’s blasé attitude… is, in the opinion of Huddersfield Labour Students, simply and plainly intolerable," the group added.

During the event, Prince Andrew expressed his plans to partner with businessmen in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council countries. However, he didn't mention the brutal murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a critic of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman who was killed last month. His death prompted international outrage.

Prince Andrew's speech is in the public domain of his Facebook page. The Huddersfield University spokesperson said that they carefully reviewed it and was surprised by the Labour students' reaction. They wanted to discuss the matter with the group.

In related news, Prince Andrew dated a string of women before he married Sarah Ferguson. In fact, one of his exes is Karolyn Herbert or Lady Carolyn Herbert, who looks like Princess Diana. Their relationship didn't work, but they remain friends.

The Duke of York also dated erotic film actress Koo Stark. But the royal family fiercely disapproved their passionate affair for fear that it would only bring shame to the monarchy. So, Prince Andrew was forced to end their romance.
