Netizens discuss if Prince Harry is really over his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

Prior to meeting and marrying Meghan Markle, Prince Harry was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Davy for seven years. Many thought that they would end up together. Apparently, they did not.

This brings one netizen to ask on Quora if Prince Harry is completely over his ex-girlfriend or if he would end up like Prince Charles who was not able to move on from Camilla Parker Bowles even after marrying Princess Diana. The question received responses from the royal fans and all of them believe that the Duke of Sussex has already moved on from Davy.

“There is certainly a deep connection between the two but that as we can see has not prevented Harry from falling deeply in love with Meghan, who was willing to join the Firm, unlike Chelsy,” Jade Worthington, a social worker, wrote.

“Harry is completely smitten with Meghan. She is the total package for him; something no other woman has been in his life, up to now. Hence why Meghan is ‘Mrs Sussex.’”

Many were convinced that Prince Harry’s love for Markle is true based on the way he looks at her. Also, one netizen said that the fact that Prince Harry invited Davy to his wedding was a sign that he was over her.

“I have watched four televised Royal weddings, and I have never seen the participants as deeply in love as Harry and Meghan appear to be. You don’t have to be a psychologist to see that Harry HAS moved on….and so should we!” Greta Sproul, a writer, editor and musician, wrote.

Meanwhile, not everyone shared the same opinion. In another thread, one netizen said that he had talked to several people and they are seeing signs that Prince Harry and Markle’s marriage mirrors that of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s.

According to Graham Short, Camilla has always been the love of Prince Charles’ life and Princess Diana was the mistake of his life.

“Already, the signs are there,” he wrote.

He was implying that the Sussexes could be facing the same marriage dilemma as the Prince and Princess of Wales. For him, Prince Harry is still not over Davy and might end up divorcing his current wife, Markle, for his ex just like what Prince Charles did to Princess Diana to be with the Duchess of Cornwall.
