Prince Harry Doesn’t Need William’s ‘Constant Support’ Now He’s With Meghan Markle

Prince Harry doesn’t need Prince William’s constant support anymore after marrying Meghan Markle.

Just recently, there were rumors that the fab four had a falling-out. The palace confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to separate from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prince Harry and Markle will be moving to closer to Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace while Prince William and Middleton will remain at Kensington Palace.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s two sons were very close growing up. Their decision to split their household only intensified their rumored rift. However, Sheela Mackintosh-Stewart thinks that this is just normal because the two princes no longer need each other that much now that they are both married.

“With Meghan to rely on, Harry no longer needs the constant support and engagement with his older brother,” Mackintosh-Stewart explained.

“William likewise doesn’t feel he needs to 'look after' his younger brother as much these days.”

She added that Prince Harry’s “party boy persona” was long gone. The soon-to-be dad is more focused and committed to becoming the best father and husband while coming into his own as a senior royal.

As for Prince Harry’s relationship with Prince William, she believes that the two have a “strong friendship.” She added that their strong bond was apparent when the Duke of Sussex asked the Duke of Cambridge to be his best man when he married Markle.

“Having grown up in a unique environment, with the added pressure of dealing with the intense media attention, such shared life experiences inevitably strengthen their bond immensely,” she added.

Just recently, Prince William reportedly defended Prince Harry and Markle from a dispute with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles. The monarch and the Prince of Wales have decided to limit the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s budget for their communication team as they are not entitled to having a separate team because Prince Harry is not an heir to the throne.

Prince William helped the couple convince Her Majesty and the future king to give them more money so they can start their own team. Kate Middleton’s husband knew how important it was for Prince Harry and Markle. Also, he knows that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are important for the image and brand of the royal family.
