Prince Harry Gave Chelsy Davy This Hilarious Gift Before Dating Meghan Markle

Prince Harry reportedly gave his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy a hilarious gift.

A few years ago, Prince Harry was unable to celebrate Valentine’s Day with his then-girlfriend so he decided to give her a shocking present. Royal author Katie Nicholl shared details about the gift in her book “Harry: Life, Loss, and Love.”

“Harry thought the purple-and-yellow briefs were a joke present from Chelsy, and he tied them to the grill of his Spartan tank for a laugh,” she wrote.

Nicholl also revealed that the underwear that he gave to Davy belonged to a stripper, and the gesture was actually a prank carried by Prince Harry’s colleagues.

“In fact, the underwear belonged to a stripper and was a parting gift from Captain Leigh-Wood, who was heading home from a brief respite from the front line,” Nicholl said.

The royal author also quoted Leigh-Wood as saying that he was about to get picked up by the helicopter when he received Valentine’s Day card from the mail with the underwear. Rather than keeping it, he decided to redirect the mail to the Duke of Sussex.

According to Leigh-Wood, Prince Harry new knew that the knickers came from one of his friends.

Prince Harry and Davy dated for quite some time, but their relationship eventually ended. The couple split right after Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding after Davy realized that she values her privacy and could not stand being followed by the media just because she’s dating Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Davy tried to reconcile a few years later while both of them were still single. Unfortunately, their attempts did not progress. One year after reuniting in Africa, Prince Harry started dating Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex eventually married the Duchess of Sussex at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Markle is pregnant with their first child, and the baby will arrive sometime at the end of April or the beginning of May.
