Prince Harry has two reasons why he married Meghan Markle despite her divorcee status.

Many fell in love when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex publicized their romance. However, not everyone was impressed because the former “Suits” star is previously married and she is black.

According to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, the duration of Markle’s marriage to her first husband, Trevor Engelson, and the fact that they do not have kids are among the factors that Prince Harry considered.

“[Meghan and her former husband] weren’t married for very long, so there isn’t tremendous baggage. But also she didn’t have children,” Larcombe said.

“If she did have children with her first husband, then that really would make it quite awkward and difficult to work out. By marrying Prince Harry, she immediately joins the Royal Family and all her children that she has will have a position within succession to the throne. So those issues have been rather conveniently avoided.”

Meanwhile, Markle made a sweet tribute to Prince Harry on his 35th birthday on Instagram. The Duchess of Sussex called Prince Harry the “best husband” and the “most amazing dad.”

Some netizens questioned Markle’s adjectives to the Duke of Sussex since they were only married for a year and they only welcomed their child four months ago. Others accused her of throwing shade at her ex-husband and estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr.

Meanwhile, another user asked Markle if she wanted to keep things private or want to give the public what they deserve by sharing a never-before-seen photo of baby Archie on her post. Markle’s collage photo included a black and white photo of Princess Harry kneeling in front of her as she carries their son. The netizen reminded Markle that she couldn’t have it both ways.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were slammed by netizens for using taxpayers’ money to fund their home Frogmore Cottage in Windsor while withholding details of their baby from the public. The royal fans demanded that the couple should share details about their son because they are not private individuals.

Royal commentator Angela Mollard encouraged Prince Harry and Markle to learn from Prince William and Middleton. She complimented the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s parenting skills and how they managed to expose their kids to the public while still being in control.
