Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Baby’s Godparents Could Be This Hollywood Couple

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby’s godparents have just been teased.

Sam Stevenson, a journalist for Express, claimed that George and Amal Clooney have made the list. The Hollywood actor is rumored to have a hunch that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will ask him to be their firstborn’s godparent.

His cousin, Ben Breslin, spoke with Daily Mail and said that Clooney will be a wonderful godparent.

“Absolutely, that would be crazy but fun. I’m not in on those royal circle talks, but that’s not to say next time he comes in with might sit down for an hour over bourbon and talk about it. George’s like the rest of us, he’s as common as an old shoe, but he likes to hobnob with the big people, so that’s great,” he said.

“I’m all for it. He’d make a wonderful godfather, he’d make a wonderful just about anything – he’s a good guy. Amal is beautiful and wonderful and a great addition to our family. We’ve loved her since we met her,” he added.

The Clooneys have hung out with Prince Harry and Markle on multiple occasions outside of their royal wedding. In fact, reports previously swirled that the royal couple is considering to hire the same nanny that worked for the Clooneys.

“Amal and Meghan have been close for years, and Harry and George have become buddies because of that. They’re much closer than the headlines let on,” a source said.

Last month, Cosmopolitan also speculated on Prince Harry and Markle’s baby’s possible godparents. At the top of the list are Ben and Jessica Mulroney. The latter has served as Markle’s personal stylist for years. And the Mulroneys’ children were part of Markle’s wedding entourage.

Designer Misha Nonoo, one of Markle’s best friends, may also be part of the list. She’s the one responsible for dressing Markle is the so-called husband t-shirt that she wore during her first public outing with Prince Harry in 2016.

Lindsay Jill Roth, Zoe and Jake Warren, Benita and Darren Litt, Serena Williams, and Tom Inskip and Lara Hughes-Young may also be Markle and Prince Harry’s baby’s godparents.
