Prince Harry Will Find New Life With Meghan Markle ‘Difficult’ Following Royal Exit
After attending the Commonwealth Day service alongside Prince William, Kate Middleton, Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to kick off the next chapter of their lives and become financially independent.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who married in 2018, are expected to split their time between the UK and North America following their royal exit. However, they will have to go without the many perks that come along with being a member of the royal family.
According to royal commentator Camilla Tominey, the couple may have a hard time adapting to no longer having their photos staged by the palace.
“It is worth pointing out that photography is choreographed in that way because that is how the palace has set up those last few jobs,” she told ITV’s “This Morning.”
“There’s a way of doing it. I’ve been to many of them, and there’s a fixed point, a rope, crowd there and photographers here, and it’s all perfectly staged to create imagery like that,” she added.
While Tominey has claimed the couple will definitely enjoy their freedom outside of the royal family, it won’t be an easy transition, especially for Prince Harry.
“Of course they are besotted with each other. But that’s not to say the love they have for each other and their child and their dream life in North America that they’re not going to face challenges,” she explained.
“And that it’s not going to be difficult particularly for Prince Harry to leave everything that he’s known. This is an institution he was born into, he knows nothing else.”
Although Prince Harry may feel a bit homesick away from his family, Queen Elizabeth has insisted that her grandson, Meghan and their son Archie will remain a valuable part of her family.
“Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved members of my family. I recognize the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life,” the monarch said in a statement about the couple’s royal exit.
