Is Prince Louis Kate Middleton’s ‘Favorite’ Child Among Her 3 Kids?
Kate Middleton has three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. But there are rumors that one of them could be her favorite.
Frederica Miller, a journalist for Express, commented on how doting the Duchess of Cambridge has been towards her youngest child. While at the Trooping the Colour last weekend, she carried Prince Louis in her arms while the 1-year-old adorably waved the crowds.
During last month’s Chelsea Flower Show, Middleton also shared a sweet moment with Prince Louis when she bent down to his level and played with him. But a motherhood expert said that Middleton’s sweetness towards Prince Louis doesn’t necessarily mean that her youngest child is her favorite.
Victoria Jennings told the publication that the future Queen or Queen Consort simply wants to baby Prince Louis for as long as possible especially since Prince George will soon turn 6 years old and Princess Charlotte is already 4 years old.
“As a mom of three, I completely understand how it looks as if Prince Louis is Kate Middleton’s favorite child. As a parent, things go by in a flash and so you want to nurture the youngest child for as long as possible; this was certainly the case with me and my youngest daughter,” she said.
Jennings also said that Prince William and Middleton are likely more relaxed when it comes to taking care of Prince Louis since they have already taken care of Prince George and Princess Charlotte after they were born.
“I think when you first become a mom there’s so much to take on board and it can be both joyous and overwhelming at the same time, but by your third child, you’re more confident and have really found your stride. You just want to baby the third child for as long as possible, especially if you’re thinking they will be your last,” she said.
But by the looks of it, Prince Louis won’t be the last child of Prince William and Middleton. During a recent engagement, the latter said that she wants to have more children in the future.
