Prince Michael Jackson Named New Correspondent For Entertainment Tonight, Paris Jackson Plays The Bass Guitar [PHOTOS]
Michael Jackson’s kids, son Prince Michael and daughter Paris, are now showing off their talents to the public.
People magazine reports that 16-year-old Prince Michael is now a special correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight."
The King of Pop’s son recently interviewed actors James Franco, Zach Braff and director Sam Raimi for their new film "Oz: the Great and Powerful" that will be released this week, the magazine details.
Prince Michael’s mentor at "E.T.," Brooke Anderson, says that he is right on track to being a great TV personality, among other aspirations.
“I thought interviewing the cast of 'Oz: the Great and Powerful' would be the perfect opportunity, because he's a fan of "The Wizard of Oz," his dad was in "The Wiz," and he wants to get into directing, producing and acting one day,” Anderson told People.
“He showed me up big time,” she added. “Ultimately, he didn't really need too much guidance. I gave him pointers, but he was a natural.”
Prince Michael said in a statement that, while he is more accustomed to being interviewed than being the interviewer, he hopes his "E.T." gig will lead to more “well-rounded” ventures, such as producing, directing, screenwriting and acting.
Inspired by his father’s direction, Prince Michael says he would most like to interview film producer Peter Jackson.
“I love his movies. 'Lord of the Rings,' 'The Hobbit' and 'King Kong.' I just love the way he shoots [and how] he brings things and depicts it back to life,” he told "E.T."
“I used to study his movies with my dad, put the volume off and just watch it, just the shots to see how he put it together.”
Meanwhile, 14-year-old Paris has been showing off her musical prowess via social media, the Daily Mail reports.
Jackson’s only daughter shared a photo of herself playing bass guitar Monday, with the caption, “#bass #jammin #music.”
The kids have largely been out of the public eye, except for a few rare public appearances or via social media.
Most recently, there has been news that T.J. Jackson, who is co-guardian of Prince Michael, Paris and their younger brother, Blanket, with their grandmother, Katherine, is asking for more money from Michael Jackson’s estate in order to take care of his niece and nephews.
According to the Mail, T.J., who is the son of Michael’s brother Tito, claims that he is “experiencing hardship” due to lack of financial support for caring for the kids.
