Prince William To Blame For Alleged Rift With Meghan Markle, Prince Harry
Prince William is being blamed for the conflict of the fab four.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly feuding. According to Abbie Llewelyn, a journalist for Express, "it could be Kate's husband that is the source of the issues."
Llewelyn's theory was supported by another source who claimed that the second in line to the throne doubted Markle for his brother. Prince William reportedly aired his concerns about the former "Suits" star and they eventually reached the Queen's ears.
"The problem is that the Cambridges felt things had moved very quickly between Harry and Meghan," a source close to Prince William said. "Wills particularly was worried and felt close enough to Harry to voice his thoughts."
Prince William and Prince Harry grew up to be very close to each other following the death of their mom, Princess Diana. In fact, the Duke of Cambridge has always looked after his younger brother. Unfortunately, "few of us like it when our romantic choice is questioned – and this appears to be the case with Harry now."
Another source said that Prince William reportedly didn't welcome Markle into the royal fold after the engagement. A mutual friend of the two disclosed that their falling-out actually began last Christmas when Markle joined the members of the Firm for the holidays and the issue was never resolved.
"Harry felt William wasn’t rolling out the red carpet for Meghan and told him so. They had a bit of a fall out which was only resolved when Charles stepped in and asked William to make an effort. That's when the Cambridges invited the Sussexes to spend Christmas with them," the source said.
The insider added that the issues between the fab four stemmed from Prince William and Prince Harry and not from Middleton and Markle. "Kate and Meghan are very different people and they don’t have a lot in common but they have made an effort to get along," a source said. "Any issues are between the brothers"
