Prince William Creating A 'Loving' Family Like Princess Diana Wanted, Expert Says

Prince William and Kate Middleton's family is similar to what Princess Diana has always wanted.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have put a united front when it comes to supporting their family. This is evident at Prince Louis' christening on Monday. According to an insider, Prince William has created a loving and caring family similar to his late mom, Princess Diana.

"[William] can do all the things that he thinks are important for family life and make sure that his children have that loving, caring, fun home that his mother was trying to create," the source told People.

The insider added that the duke has been a great dad to his three children, 4-year-old Prince George, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and 2-month-old Prince Louis.

"[William] is a very good father," a family friend said. "As his own father has been. [Charles] has been a very good father to those boys and they're very, very fond of him."

According to the source, Prince William talks to his children about their late grandmother. In fact, the father of three and his wife, Kate, filled their home with lots of photos of the late Princess of Wales.

"At all these landmark moments, [William's] mother is missing, and it's sad," the source added. "But they are creating their own legacy now."

In related news, according to a body language expert, Middleton's parenting style is similar to the People's Princess. Both moms are very "hands-on" and fixated on their kids.

"Both women are incredibly hands-on," Susan Constantine told Good Housekeeping. "They're always fixated on their children, even with the chaos around them."

However, between the two, Middleton is more relaxed. According to Patti Wood, another body language expert, Princess Diana was "very directional and correctional in her actions." On the other hand, Middleton allows her children to explore.

"If her child falls, she simply picks them up," Wood said about Middleton. "In contrast, Diana tries everything in her power to prevent her children from falling in the first place."

However, Prince William and Middleton are very strict when it comes to their children's privacy. In fact, they planted 40-foot hedges in front of Kensington Palace so Prince George and Princess Charlotte can play outside without being seen from the gates.

"They want both children to be free to play in public and semi-public spaces with other children without being photographed," a statement from the palace said.
