One royal fan turned to online forum Quora and asked if Prince William is divorcing Middleton. The question gained a number of responses. Some of them welcomed the possibility.

One user claimed that Middleton “turned out to be a rotten mix” and added that Prince William stated she only used him as a sperm bank since the arrival of Prince Louis.

Middleton reportedly moved out of their matrimonial bedroom and set herself up in a spare bedroom opposite their kid’s room.

“The situation is truly very sad, and the UK really is upset about this news. We had such hopes for this marriage and the future of the monarchy,” the user said.

However, the majority were sure that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are not splitting. A different user questioned the first user who gave the response above and urged her to get her news from more respectable sources.

“That doesn't sound like a couple filing for divorce, that sounds like a content and happy married couple,” Todd Bartholomew, a self-confessed neo-monarchist, wrote.

Jade Worthington, a social worker by profession, found the question malicious. She called it harassment and insincere for it “serves no purpose other than to maliciously generate a rumour unheard of elsewhere.”

Earlier this year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were plagued with cheating rumors. Some sources claimed that Prince William was being unfaithful to Middleton by having an affair with Rose Hanbury.

However, an insider said that the couple is not splitting. Middleton confronted her husband about the infidelity rumors and he just laughed it off because it was not true. Even if the allegations weren’t true, the rumors reportedly rocked the palace and somehow affected Prince William and Middleton’s marriage.

Prince William’s lawyers have already denied the rumors and issued a legal warning to one tabloid that published details of the rumors that were deemed “false and highly damaging.” The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continue to attend royal engagements together.

They were seen at Trooping the Colours with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Just recently, Prince William and Middleton were also spotted enjoying a romantic lunch after visiting Cumbria.
