Prince William Made Kate Middleton ‘Feel Like A Servant’ In ‘Edgy’ Relationship

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship wasn’t smooth.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took their time before they finally decided to tie the knot. They were dating for almost a decade before Prince William popped the big question and while still dating they’ve gone through a lot.

According to biographer Andrew Morton in his book “William and Catherine” there was a time when Middleton felt like she’s Prince William’s servant, not a girlfriend.

“Obstinate and strong-willed, William could be an overwhelming presence and, at times, Kate felt taken for granted – treated like a servant rather than his girlfriend.”

Michael Choong, a university friend of the couple’s, told Morton that the Duke of Cambridge “could be flip and curt” with Middleton. On the other hand, Middleton didn’t like it when Prince William ignored her into conversation with someone as if she wasn’t there. Another friend said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had an “edgy” relationship.

“He expected Kate to run after him and the longer they knew each other the more he seemed to keep her on a tight leash,” Morton continued.

“There were often spats, rows and break-ups and William and Kate tried to find their way both as young adults and as a couple.”

Earlier this year, there were rumors that Prince William cheated on Middleton with a family friend named Rose Hanbury. Royals fans have different takes about the speculations.

Those who believe slammed the father of three on Twitter. In April, the couple celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary and several netizens shared memes of Prince William comparing him to a fish with teeth, donkey, a bald character and more.

However, many also believed that the rumors were not true. One fan said that the future king is much happier when Middleton is around. In fact, he has a certain smile that is only reserved for his wife.

Another online user said that Prince William is too smart to cheat on his wife. In addition, he is already happy and contented with his family.

Prince William and Middleton were last seen together on Monday at the Chelsea Flower Show. The duke, Queen Elizabeth II and Sophie, Countess of Wessex were there to support the unveiling of Middleton’s garden.
