Prince William's High Society Ex-Girlfriend On Good Terms With Wife Kate Middleton

Prince William's ex-girlfriend and wife are on good terms with each other.

Prior to dating Middleton, the Duke of Cambridge was in a relationship with Olivia Hunt. Prince William met her at St. Andrews, where he also crossed paths with Middleton.

According to Francesca Specter, a journalist for Express, the reason behind Prince William and Hunt's split remains unknown, but the exes have remained amicable with each other. In fact, even Middleton is on good terms with Hunt.

Hunt reportedly attended the wedding of Middleton's sister, Pippa Middleton. Prince William's ex is a central member of the British high society. She's regularly pictured at venues like private members club Annabel's and Guards Polo Club. Hunt is now married to Nicolas Wilkinson, who was once dubbed the hottest barrister in Britain.

Aside from Hunt, Prince William dated Jecca Craig, who is now an environmental conservationist. The Duke of Cambridge missed Queen Elizabeth II's and Middleton's first meeting because he attended the wedding of Craig's brother.

However, Prince William previously made a statement regarding Middleton and the Queen's meeting that confused royal fans. During his and Middleton's engagement interview, he hinted that he was around when the Duchess of Cambridge met the Queen for the first time at Peter Philips' nuptials. However, the palace had already announced that he had not been present.

"Prince William is going to be out of the country this weekend on a long-standing prior engagement," the insider told Telegraph. "It is an unfortunate clash but he spoke to his cousin Peter and he is fine with the situation. [Middleton] will be going in his absence."

In related news, Middleton had an awkward reaction when she met Prince William for the first time. She admitted that she couldn't help but blush during their first encounter.

"I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you," Middleton told Prince William about their first meeting (via Express). "William wasn't there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn't there from Fresher's Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other. But we did become very close friends from quite early on."

It was later learned Middleton scuttled off because she did something embarrassing. Middleton reportedly curtsied when she saw Prince William that accidentally caused the duke to spill a drink on himself.
