Princess Estelle Grabs Spotlight At Princess Victoria’s 38th Birthday

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden celebrated her 38th birthday Tuesday, but it was her daughter, Princess Estelle, who was in the spotlight as a mini-fashionista on her mother’s special day. The cute 3-year-old waved to the crowds as she joined Victoria and her dad Prince Daniel for the family celebrations, Hello reports.

Following tradition, Victoria’s birthday was celebrated by the Swedish royal family at their official summer residence of Solliden Palace on the island of Ӧland. King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia were also on hand for the celebrations.

The family greeted members of the public who had gathered outside the palace with gifts and cards for their future queen. Victoria was dressed up for the occasion in a floral tea dress, which she teamed up with a pink cardigan and nude heels. Her brunette hair was pulled back into a tight bun.

The crown princess accessorized her look with a colorful beaded necklace and hoop earrings. Meanwhile, little Estelle looked cute in a blue frock and cardigan. The little royal paired her dress with matching white tights and shoes.

Her hair was tied into braids with blue ribbons and there were two small clips too. She carried a blue umbrella in her hand. The tot held onto her mother’s hand as they greeted well-wishers before walking around the grounds and playing with the umbrella.

Queen Silvia looked elegant in a cream suit with a chic silk scarf knotted over the top. She wore a matching cream and black pumps. Meanwhile, King Carl was dressed in a checkered gray suit, trousers, a white shirt and red tie.

The former personal trainer Prince Daniel opted for a classy look in a navy suit and trouser combo, which he wore with a white shirt and matching tie. He kept an eye on his little daughter as she played in the ground of the palace.

The little girl also played a starring role in the wedding of her uncle Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist in June. The princess acted as a ringbearer during the royal wedding, which was held at the royal chapel in Stockholm. The newlyweds made their first public appearance after their honeymoon on Thursday.
