Fans are hoping that Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson once again tie the knot.

Nicholas Bieber, a journalist for Daily Star, recently reported that aside from Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank on their big day, some are concentrating their attention on her parents, the Duke and Duchess of York.

Prince Andrew and Ferguson have remained amicable with each other after their divorce, and both have also remained single since then. Although the exes weren't showing any signs of affection during the ceremony, some fans said they are hoping they rekindle their flame and marry again in the next royal wedding.

"They are now demanding Royal Wedding number three – following that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie and Jack all at the same Windsor Castle venue," Bieber wrote.

"I can't be the only one who wants Sarah Ferguson & Prince Andrew to remarry... Next #RoyalWedding?" one royal fan posted on Twitter.

"Now Prince Andrew and Sarah should remarry. Sarah wear that ruby ring again and the two of you live happily ever after," another fan wrote.

"Well Princess Sarah :))))I think you should get married to prince Andrew," another user wrote.

Prince Andrew and Ferguson split after the latter's toegate scandal. The Duchess of York was photographed sunbathing with her financial advisor, John Bryan, sucking her toes. The royal family was furious when the snaps landed on the cover page of the tabloids.

"Okay you don't expect somebody to crawl through the bushes to take photographs of you topless while your financial advisor is sucking your toes," Dickie Arbiter told ITV's "The Royal Wives of Windsor" about Ferguson's scandal. "You don't expect that but by the same token you don't go away with somebody that isn't your husband and sunbathe topless."

Despite the scandal, Prince Andrew and Ferguson remain friends. They still spend time together. In fact, just recently they were seen horseriding together. They also attended Royal Ascot together. Ferguson even shared a photo of them together on social media and called her husband a "family."

Prince Andrew can remarry his ex-wife if he wants to because he is only seventh-in-line to the throne following Prince Louis' birth. Only the first six successors need the Queen's permission to get married.
