Queen Elizabeth II attended church service with Sophie, Countess of Wessex, but without Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The Queen is in her favorite home, Balmoral Castle in Scotland, for her summer break. The monarch usually spends three months there and she is often accompanied by the other members of the royal family.

On Sunday, the monarch was photographed making her way to attend a church service. Queen Elizabeth II was joined by her favorite royal, Sophie, Countess of Wessex. Prince Harry and Markle were noticeably missing, Express first reported.

According to previous reports, the Queen has invited Markle to join her in Balmoral and celebrate her birthday in Scotland. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex haven’t been pictured with the Queen in Balmoral recently.

Instead, they took a trip to Ibiza for a mini-break to celebrate Markle’s 38th birthday. The couple reportedly stayed in Vista Alegre complex, a secluded property popularly known as the “billionaire’s playground.”

One of the most exclusive villas in the resort is Sa Calma, which costs $146,000 a week. The three-storey building has a 50-meter pool that comes with a house manager, chef and waitress. It has access to a Range Rover Autobiography with its own driver. One can also arrange for a butler, yoga instructor and a personal trainer.

A new report has claimed that Prince Harry and Markle took another trip to Nice on Wednesday. The royal couple was off to their second Mediterranean holiday of the summer just two days after they arrived in the U.K. from Ibiza. They were photographed at the London airport.

According to onlookers, Prince Harry and Markle tried to avoid attention by staring at the ground. They were whisked from the tarmac in a blacked-out Mercedes to a secluded villa in France.

Aside from the Sussexes, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have not joined the Queen in Balmoral yet. Middleton was spotted taking Prince George and Princess Charlotte to their favorite hangout in London, Fulham-based private members club The Hurlingham Club.

An insider said that Middleton took her three children there. Prince George and Princess Charlotte had tennis lesson. Meanwhile, Prince Louis particularly loved the playground that features a toddler zone, a water play area and an adventure play zone. Prince William and Middleton are still expected to fly to Scotland soon.
