The royal family loves polo. Over the years, the women and children in the royal family have been spotted watching this sport while the men enjoy playing it. Here are some of the Queen, Princess of Wales and Duchess of Cambridge’s fashion moments during polo matches.

Queen Elizabeth II

The Queen has been seen watching polo. When Prince Charles and Princess Anne were younger, the Queen made a frequent appearance at the sporty event, which wasn’t surprising given Her Majesty’s love for horses.

In the photo below, the Queen looked stylish in her outfit when she arrived at Windsor Great Park with Prince Charles. In the snap, Queen Elizabeth II holds her bag and her pet’s leash in one hand.

Meanwhile, the little Prince of Wales was dashing in his shorts, coat, knee-high socks and shoes. The mother and son attended the event to watch Prince Philip play polo.

Queen Elizabeth II also attended Prince Philip’s polo match on Smith’s lawn at Windsor Great Park in 1956. Her Majesty was fashionable in her dress, shades, and handbag. At the time, she was accompanied by Prince Charles, Princess Anne and her pet dog.

On April 30, 1967, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and Prince Charles were photographed together. The Queen awarded her husband and son with trophies after a polo match.

Princess Diana

Princess Diana always wowed the royal fans when she attended polo matches. In 1987, the People’s Princess was stunning in her polkadot dress as she handed out the medals at the Smith’s Lawn Polo Grounds in Windsor, Berkshire.

Princess Diana didn’t miss Prince Charles’ polo match even if she was pregnant. Prince Harry and Prince William’s mom was stunning in her maternity dress in this photo as she talked to Prince Charles.

In 1988, Princess Diana looked cool in her white shirt, blue jeans and brown knee-high boots when she attended Prince Charles polo match. She paired her top with a black blazer and wore a blue cap. At the time, she was accompanied by her cute son, Prince William.

Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge enjoyed polo with her kids. In 2015, Middleton stunned in her striped blue top and jeans when she watched Prince William’s polo match with Prince George.

It seems that a striped top was a must for the duchess for the sport since she was also seen wearing a similar top but of a different color the previous year.

In 2018, just two months after delivering Prince Louis, Middleton stepped out with Prince George and Princess Charlotte to watch another polo match. Middleton looked great in her dress that day.
